Am Goran, 25 Y old Business Development Manager at Omphalos. I’ve been in crypto for 7 years now ever since i was 18.

1. Can you please tell us more what Omphalos is? What are the outstanding features of Omphalos ?

Omphalos, the name represents the cornerstone of the world on Greek 🙂
It’s a rather ambitious name i know but still we’re more than up to the task of achieving everything 🙂

Omphalos is DeFi Stable type token which utilizes rebase feature to maintain token value at all times. We’re successors of AMPL which failed to implement everything perfectly before but we’re learning from it’s errors and making sure we don’t repeat them 🙂

Also Omphalos is consisted of 5 Pillars :

Decentralized Bank/ Rebase
Council/ Community Governance trough voting
Omphalos Spring / Liquidity Mining
Omphalos Adesha/ New Gen Lending and Borrowing
Omphalos Proxeny/ Cross Chain Interoperability powered by Polkadot

There ain’t a core as i mentioned just now
Omphalos is consisted out of 5 different parts 🙂
Omphalos was created in order to unify all major DeFi features in one project along with a stable token which is safe from inflation 🙂
Community can be called the core in a certain manner. Community members will be voting trough Council system on all new upcoming features of Omphalos in the future. Each OMPL owned = 1 Weight during the vote so the more OMPL you own the higher your influence within the project is. 🙂

3. What are the major milestones Omphalos have achieved until now? And are there any other upcoming hot news for Omphalos ?

Not on Uniswap yet 🙂
We’ve decided to list on official exchanges first after a IEO 🙂 Details about IEO will be published soon so stay tuned and for those who are considering joining private sale. Minimum is 10 000$ with lockdown period of 30 Days after which tokens are distributed 10% each 30 days. Price during the private sale is however lot lower than it will be during the public sale 🙂 0.6 $

?Marketing is a central element for every project, so that everyone knows the potential that a project can bring is vital to achieve the goals set. What is your strategy to attract new users and investor to your platform and keep them long term?

Currently we’re working on Asian market and as am sure some of you are aware we’re holding a quite long Series of AMA sessions in order to inform as many people as possible about OMPL.

marketing is always the most important part of a project.
As you said. And you can have best possible product in the world

But unless you have exposure it’s worthless

Currently we’re working on a sequence of AMA sessions such as this one. but we’re planning on expanding our target area to europe

Each project has interesting stories before it is created. What’s the story behind of Omphalos’s success? What was that vision when it first emerged as an idea?

I guess you’re correct. Oh well omphalos as you know means the cornerstone of the world and as I’ve said. That is quite an ambitious name. But if anything it only shows how dedicated we are towards becoming the cornerstone of the crypto itself as a project.
Every day when i wake up something new gets done and everyone is proactive and fast.
Idea of OMPL was to bring all of the best DeFi features under 1 roof 🙂 Omphalos roof 🙂

How does OMPL token work in the in your ecosystem, what function does it perform, and why should investors choose your coin for investment in the long run?

Well there are many use cases for OMPL token.
As we said earlier OMPL is a stable type token. But unlike usually used USDT
OMPL has several inbuilt options for earning pasive income.
Liquidity Mining, Lending and borrowing, Cross chain interoperability.
Usually you would USDT and while yeah u can lend your USDT you need to go create an account elsewhere and then deposit your tokens there etc etc. It’s a panful process. OMPL wants to simplify your everyday life and create an App which will be suitable for mass adoption an app in which you’ve got all of the best features of the entire DeFi space.
So there would be no need for 5 different apps in order to transfer your crypto into stable and stake it for instance

What is the purpose of OMPL token? Is there a OMPL Staking program to encourage investor to hold token for longterm? How does this mechanism work? And how do we participate in the staking plan?

Well this question is quite a bit similar to the last one. Overall Liquidity mining offers 300% APY !
Staking itself as a feature ain’t public yet. It’s being worked on behind the scenes so not i even know all details behind it. But as soon as they are published. I promise i will pop out here and let u know 🙂

other than staking people have many different reasons to hold OMPL. Including Mars

What companies/projects do you see as competitors, and how does Omphalos stand out compared to them?

Speed is our greatest advantage here. DeFi is huge atm as you all know it. However. If team is slow or small

Projects die out fast

We’re lucky to have a huge team and a fast one at that. So we can keep up with all changes in the space without too much difficulty

As effective as we are.
We achieved so much in just few months that it’s almost unbelivable

If automated rebases occur, how do you prevent people from losing their percentage of ownership of Omphalos? If the supply increases, will the number of tokens for the holders also increase?

Goran – Business Development Manager at Omphalos:

No answer here is no! In case of a negative rebase you might lose a number of tokens but never a % because upon purchase of tokens you buy a fixed % of the total supply meaning that amount of tokens in your wallet will decrease. But you will still own same % of the total supply you had before the rebase

As individual user, what ways can I contribute to the development of Your Project? Do you have Ambassador programs and What is its benefit?

We’re currently finalizing Our Ambassador program actually and will publish all details about it during the next week. I look forward to your application

Why does Omphalos use the Polkadot parachain protocol? How do Omphalos dAPPs when built on the Polkadot network differ from dAPPs built on Ethereum?

Goran – Business Development Manager at Omphalos:
Omphalos chose Polkadot as a best substitute for ETH 2.0 Layer due to the fact that ETH still doesn’t have anything fully operational yet. And we don’t want our users to pay autonomous gas fee’s or wait long for their transactions to get confirmed

In past few years many cryptocoins have been prone to hacking� How can you assure to crypto traders that Omphalos has strong security and privacy to prevent hacking in 2020

Goran – Business Development Manager at Omphalos:
Well we can’t make promises but our smart contract is currently undergoing an Audit at QuantStamp which is a leading blockchain audit company. We will try to ensure highest possible security for our users at all times. And towards that end we plan on holding occasional hackatons for security breaches and simmilar events to help us uncover potential security faults in the future with the help of our community

Project progress and development is the first priority for any investors! Tell us about the latest great achievements of Omphalos?

Goran – Business Development Manager at Omphalos:
Well our latest achievement was completion of Omphalos spring almost 2 months ahead of schedule.
it’s not public yet but it will be soon enough 🙂 We are gonna try and stay ahead of our roadmap as much as possible instead of being late like many other projects in the past did. Precision is very important for keeping our investors happy
